On behalf of the organizer of the fair, Ms. Tang introduced the fair profile, promotion progress, exhibitor recruitment and services to Ms. Oom during the meeting. Ms Oom suggested that many Portuguese food and beverage manufacturers have been planning to enter South China market in recent years, especially producers of Portuguese tarts, canned food, wine, olive oil, coffee and etc, Ms. Oom also believed that FHW CHINA is the perfect platform which Portuguese companies are looking for. Ms. Chen, representing GDCCIE – the co-organizer of the fair and a highly regarded organization specialized in promoting Chinese import and export, showed warm welcome and full support for Portuguese enterprises to further explore the Chinese food and beverage market.
At the end of the meeting, Ms. Oom confirmed that a meeting with Macao trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) with be arranged soon to further discuss the participation in FHW CHINA 2012 by establishing a pavilion of Portuguese and Macau companies.
